SPOILER WARNING: This is a full-spoiler recap of RHOSLC Season 7, Episode 6. Stop here if you have not watched.
Mary Cosby tried to host a peace summit. She got a tribunal instead. Per Reality Blurb‘s recap and Bravo‘s episode description, the women returned from San Francisco with Whitney Rose and Ashley Quai still at odds, Quai carrying a surprising admission for Meredith Marks, and Mary stepping out to bring everyone together at a Boss Lady Brunch.
The episode opened at home, factually and quietly, with Angie Katsanevas hosting Mary for her first visit out of the house. Mary, who is grieving her son Robert Jr. — whose death in February 2026 paused production — told Angie she is carrying her grief wherever she goes, and asked for the full San Francisco rundown. Hearing how divisive the trip became, Mary questioned how the group had moved from gathering around her in grief to fighting like this, and said she was hosting a lunch because she wants the group to come together and move forward. That intention frames everything that follows, and it is why the brunch’s collapse hit her the way it did.
First, a lighter stop: Britani Bateman’s daughter Olivia turned 21, and Heather Gay, Bronwyn Newport and Whitney gathered to celebrate — Whitney doing Diet Coke shots alongside the real ones. Around the party, Bronwyn shared updates: she closed on her house for more than she expected, everything is in a trust though Todd still has access to her credit card statements, and she met boyfriend Brandon’s parents in Florida. Whitney, meanwhile, told the group Quai is lying to everyone and said she is tired of having Quai’s back.
Then the brunch. Mary set a boss-lady dress code — Angie promptly wore a tie anyway — and Robert Sr. had made each woman a personalized floral arrangement, a gesture Mary explained by saying this group has stood in as family for her and helped her through hard times. She became emotional recalling having no support when her son was born, and thanked the women for the support they have given her since his death. It was the episode’s still center, and the recap treats it as such: a mother thanking her friends, plainly.
The business of the brunch unraveled in order. Whitney apologized for hurting people while publicly intoxicated and said she has a lot going on in her life; Lisa Barlow dismissed that as a crutch. Whitney then said two other friends had misbehaved in public and that the diss-track performance disrespected Bronwyn. Meredith said the song was not about Bronwyn, told Bronwyn to seal her mouth, then offered that she was “genuinely sorry” for hurting feelings — and Bronwyn accepted the apology and moved on. Lisa refused outright: per Reality Blurb, she said she did not feel bad, does not say things she does not mean, and would rather write a check than say sorry — then sang part of the song again.
The Quai detonation closed the meal. Meredith accused Whitney of assembling a team of women to take her down; Quai confirmed she had told Meredith exactly that, admitted she did talk badly about Meredith and had owned it to her, and then exposed Whitney’s own off-camera line — that the group was excited for Quai to come take Meredith’s spot. Whitney conceded she probably said she wants Meredith gone, and raised the claim that Quai had been recorded. Mary, on her first public outing since her loss, told the table she was disappointed, expected more from everyone, told Lisa she was let down by her behavior, and told Whitney to get it together.
The aftershocks were smaller and colder. Whitney hosted Quai at home, confirmed there were no cameras inside, and the two agreed the group drama had stemmed from Whitney — and that they would rebuild trust and keep the peace, with Quai free to be friends with everyone. Elsewhere, Mary told a smaller group that Britani had taken floral arrangements from the brunch — including ones given to Mary as a gift; Angie claimed Britani takes flowers to nursing homes to get into men’s wills, a shocking claim Britani was not there to answer. Heather also previewed a party to introduce her new boyfriend, and the group turned to Britani’s digging into the deed for Bronwyn’s house, with Lisa calling Bronwyn’s whole story a ruse.
No one went home — this is Salt Lake City, everyone goes home angry and returns next week — but the alliances moved: Bronwyn accepted Meredith’s apology, Lisa chose the song over sorry, and Quai chose Meredith’s side of the street in public.
The 247 Take — Mary asked for one lunch of adults and got a loyalty hearing with floral centerpieces. The brunch failed at its stated job and succeeded completely at the real one: now everyone, including Mary, knows exactly where everyone stands.
