The slow drip has started, and Rockville fans know what that means. Welcome to Rockville has begun naming names for its 2027 edition, returning to Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida on May 6–9, 2027 — with the full lineup set to be unveiled next week, per Metal Anarchy’s October 21 reporting.
Poppy was the first artist officially confirmed for the 2027 festival, per theprp.com and Metal Anarchy, revealed through the festival’s own Instagram announcement. Hot on her heels, Black Veil Brides and Loathe have also been added, Metal Anarchy reported on October 21 — a one-two of theatrical hard rock and British metalcore heaviness that tells you exactly what kind of weekend Daytona is in for.
The drip-feed format is now a Danny Wimmer Presents tradition: a handful of early confirmations to start the arguments, then the full poster — which, for a festival of Rockville’s scale, means well over a hundred bands across four days at the Speedway. The 2026 edition drew some 210,000 fans, and the festival’s early-bird passes for 2027 have already been on sale since June, with four-day GA starting at $370 and $1-down layaway plans, per earlier festival announcements.
Reading the first three names like tea leaves is a festival-season sport, but there is a real signal here. Poppy — whose 2026 Rockville set was cut short by severe weather — gets a run-back on a bigger stage of the conversation.
