Is Iggy Azaela a Two-Hit Wonder?
The track is garbage and we understand what her label is saying, but she’s NOT hearing them! It’s like 80s band ABC’s song “Zillionaire.”
What is Iggy thinking? Girl if you don’t come with something better your career lasted for one album and you will be a two-hit wonder.
On (January 21) Twitter Iggy added:
“Bad news update:my record label Virgin/EMI seems to feel the response to my viral record “zillion” wasnt good enough & im not allowed a video…I felt like it was dope so, whatever. ted cockle doesn’t wanna see me shine. what can i say.”
However, Iggy Azalea says she has more to say on the matter, but that she’s holding back.
“Anyhow i could say ALOT – but ill keep it mildly professional…Just wanted to let some of you guys asking know whats happening.”
If all else fails for Iggy she has a backup plan to promote her forthcoming Digital Distortion album, if needed, she sarcastically tweeted:
“If all else fails ill just drive around LA and play my new album really loudly every monday from 4-6pm hahaha,”she writes.

Which leads us to the latest diss, Iggy is now facing and it’s coming from Macklemore, another white rapper?
The Seattle rapper, Macklemore is now TARGETING Iggy Azalea and Miley Cyrus stating that they’ve jacked black culture only for their own financial gain!
This would sound so much more authentic if it was coming from a black artist in hip hop, but coming from Macklemore just feels like he’s reaching.
Talk about calling the kettle black, Macklemore, who has posed in photos with Miley Cyrus and Iggy Azalea is coming off like a turncoat. He won Grammy’s for his debut album, which should have gone to a hip hop artist, not a white rapper who is more alternative than hip hop.
Anyways, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are ramping up their activity as they prepare for the February 26 release of, This Unruly Mess I’ve Made. However, Mack dropped “White Privilege II,” a spiritual sequel to the track Macklemore released on his solo project Language of My World in 2009.
Unfortunately for Iggy and Miley, Mack uses Australian rapper, Miley and Elvis, as the paradigm for white privilege, rapping:
“You’ve exploited and stolen the music, the moment, the magic, the passion the fashion, you toy with / The culture was never, yours to make better / You’re Miley, you’re Elvis, you’re Iggy Azalea.”
Yikes!
Well the reference didn’t sit well with Azalea so she has officially CLAPPED BACK at Macklemore, saying:
“He shouldn’t have spent the last 3 yrs having friendly convos and taking pictures together at events if those were his feelings. (photo above)”
Iggy Azalea didn’t take kind to Macklemore’s song saying:
“He shouldn’t have spent the last 3 yrs having friendly convos and taking pictures together at events if those were his feelings.”
She added:
“People are going to like whoever they want so, let them.”
We are shocked and impressed by Iggy who surprisingly use balanced words from the normally combative MC
What’s not surprising? Two white people pretending to like each other for years and then feeling hurt when one isn’t genuine.
