We are well aware of the devastation New Orleans endured over the past few weeks after being hit by some of the worst storms since “Superstorm Sandy.” Now Boosie BadAzz steps up for his community!!!
Flip and see what Boosie BadAzz did for his people in New Orleans…
One thing we have to commend Boosie BadAzz is that he NEVER forgets where he came from and always gives back. Since his cancer scare Boosie BadAzz has become a new man.
The flooding that has devastated New Orleans over the past few weeks has reached historic proportions, with the Red Cross calling the environmental disaster “the worst to his the US since Superstorm Sandy.” Plenty of people have pitched in to help, but for Boosie Badazz it’s personal.
The Baton Rouge native took things upon himself donating what he could, but he came through with 20,000 socks and underwear for men, women and children, as well as bottled water and hygiene kits. Where are the other rappers and natives of New Orleans? Why aren’t they stepping up? If they all did something like Boosie, New Orleans would see some relieve. Donating money is NOT always the best thing. Remember the Red Cross has to pay their people first, then the city takes their cut before any of the money sees the people and victims.
We are still waiting on rappers Lil Wayne, Master P, Mystikal, Juvenile, and Curren$y who always talk about giving back to their community. OK men, here is your chance to make your empty words meaningful. Boosie has mad you all look bad. And just to think, these are the people who made your millionaire dreams comes true. Without them, you would all be nothing!
Thank you Boosie for stepping up. He + his manager worked together to package everything up for distribution, writing:
“Me and @therealtq had to load the last truck solo! Just Doing what I can to help my people effected by the #brflood2016 #louisianaproud #minorsetbackforamajorcomeback 20,000 socks n underwear for men, women n children/ bottle waters n hygiene kits available also ?”
So far 13 people have died from the flooding, and tens of thousands have been displaced from their homes.
Props to Boosie for putting on for his community.
