Flip and get all the tea on Kanye West, Puff Daddy + Drake…
CelebNMusic247.com has the latest on Kanye West who is continuing to promote his latest album The Life Of Pablo.
We just got word that the Chicago native is opening 21 pop-up Pablo merchandise stores around the world this weekend.
According to reports, the specific locations will be announced on kanyewest.com 24 hours before the temporary sites launch. Each shop is expected to stay open for only three days. – AHH
He took to Twitter to announce the news:
Over in New York, Diddy’s Puff Daddy Bad Boy Entertainment Tour on hold!
According to HHDX:
Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment Tour has been delayed a week because the rap mogul is recovering from shoulder surgery, according to the Associated Press.
A rep for Diddy told the news service that he is taking the time “to recover and give fans the incredible stage experience they have come to expect from a Puff Daddy experience.”
The nationwide tour, which celebrates 20 years of Bad Boy Entertainment, was set to begin August 25 in Columbus, Ohio. It is now scheduled to kickoff September 1. The rest of the tour dates have yet to be announced.
The Bad Boy Family honored The Notorious B.I.G. on what would have been his 44th birthday with a concert in Brooklyn. Lil’ Kim, The LOX, French Montana, Ma$e and the rest of the Bad Boy crew performed. Jay Z and Mary J. Blige performed as friends of the family.
Also reported today was the news that police were called to Cassie’s home this week after she and Puffy got in a heated argument. He supposedly snatched her phone when she asked to break up with him. He later returned it.
Maybe Diddy needs that extra week before taking the stage for more than just a hurt shoulder.
Stay tuned for new concert dates after the Bad Boy Entertainment Tour delay.
A Big Congrats goes out to Toronto native Drake, since his “VIEWS” Certified Triple Platinum!
Drake is untouchable this year. His Views is now Certified Triple Platinum.
Considering the almost unholy amount of time that Drake held down the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, it’s perhaps unsurprising that the album is already certified triple platinum. It’s an impressive accomplishment for hip hop these days. He achieved triple platinum in the span of four months, basically. This could be a decade-long quest for some artists. When has Rick Ross, Future, Young Thug or any artists today achieved success like Drizzy?
This isn’t Drake’s first triple platinum album, in March of this year another album, Nothing Was The Same, was also certified triple platinum. In more recent news, Drake is working on a mixtape and possibly previewed songs off it at a Detroit “Summer Sixteen” after party. – HNHH
Congrats to Drake on selling over 3 million copies of VIEWS!
That’s not all! Drake leads the nominations with 14 to his name, including Album of the Year, Track of the Year (x2), Best Collabo, Duo or Group and MVP of the Year. Future comes in second with 10 nominations, including Best Live Performer, Album of the Year, Best Mixtape, among others.
