Disney Channels ‘A.N.T. Farm’ star, Stefanie Scott, remakes Taylor Swift’s ‘Everything Has Changed’ with pop singer Sutherland.

The Disney Channel has a history of finding young women with talent as both actresses and singers, like Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus.

Stefanie Scott of The A.N.T. Farm, is the newest female singer/actress to join the ranks of Disney Channel pop femme fatal. Stefanie Scott stars as Lexi Reed, a popular high schooler who has recently discovered she is a child prodigy and has moved away from home to attend a prestigious A.N.T. (Advanced Natural Talents) boarding school, in the Disney Channel Original Series “A.N.T. Farm.” However, Scott teams up with singer-songwriter Spencer Sutherland for a cover of Taylor Swift/Ed Sheeran hit Everything Has Changed.

Spencer tells us, via press release:

“I love the way they {Swift and Sheeran) come from two different worlds and genre’s of music, but together they wrote this song and still kept what made each of their respective styles special. They’re both fantastic storytellers – their lyrics are really relatable. Similarly, Stefanie Scott and I each have completely different taste in music and in style, but I think together we managed to come up with something that complimented each other!”

Stefanie Scott lent her voice to the Oscar-nominated animated film Wreck-It Ralph, as well as starred in Disney’s Original Movie Frenemies. Stefanie performed the song “Pose”, which was featured in the film, as well as on the A.N.T. Farm soundtrack. The Columbus, Ohio natvie got her first big break in Beethoven’s Big Break, which premiered on the Disney Channel. Scott also starred in Rob Reiner’s feature film “Flipped,” and played a younger version of Natalie Portman’s character in “No Strings Attached.”

Sutherland recently shared the stage with the likes of Emblem3, MKTO, Ariana Grande, Big Time Rush, just to name of few. He is currently in the studio working with Grammy winning song writers/producers such as Andreas Carlsson, Andreas Oberg, Johnny Andrews and O.A.R band member/producer Jerry DePizzo. Sutherland will be releasing his first single, “Heartstrings”, before the end of 2013.
