Social Media Is Questioning Empire Records!

Empire Records has become a major topic on social media since rapper PnB Rock was shot and Killed on Monday night at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles…

CelebnMuic247.com has come across a theory from a hip hop fan who is angry that another rapper has been shot and killed.

Empire Records name is popping up on Twitter, asking the question if they did it for the insurance policies?

Now there is no proof on this and we have classified this as a rumor.

Huh, really?

We doubt Empire would be killing off their artists for profit.

If you have been paying attention, Aaliyah is trending on Twitter since she was NOT signed to Empire at the time of her untimely death in 2001. She was signed to Black Ground Records headed by her uncle.

If you know the story, she was filming ‘Queen of the Damned’ and the ‘Matrix 2’ (Her scenes were cut, she was replaced by a look-a-like) when she got the call to quickly rush to the Bahamas to film the “Rock The Boat” video between her film dates.

Aaliyah was supposed to be with her boyfriend Damon Dash at Da Brat’s birthday bash in Florida that weekend. It was her only time off, but her uncle told her that they wanted to drop Rock The Boat quickly instead of “More Than A Woman.” The decision cost Aaliyah her life. She wrapped shooting and wanted to rush back to Florida to be with Dash. Her dream team all jump on the cessna plane, the only problem is that there were too many people on board and too much luggage. The pilot should had said one person needs to get off, and some luggage needs to stay behind and go with the crew. He said nothing and the plane crash because it was overweight.

At the time, Aaliyah was NOT signed to Empire Records. The only acquired her music catalog, so her death has no relation to PnB Rock’s death.

Since then hip hop has continued to lose mainstream rappers on the come up.

A tweet by a hip hop fan is theorizing that PnB Rock’s label is behind his death. No, let’s get it straight, it would be his girlfriend who posted a photo that she was with PnB at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles.

Here is the infamous Tweet in question:
