Pat Giganti filed a case against Sorrentino, 32, alleging that the former “Jersey Shore” star damaged the $700,00 Manchester, New Jersey, home he’s currently renting.

Sorrentino’s lawyer, Edward Fradkin, says Sorrentino is up to date on his rent for the home he shares with his fiancée, Lauren Pesce, but he will have the home inspected before vacating the premises this week.  Fradkin also says the dispute involves a security deposit from the previous home Sorrentino rented from Giganti. Sorrentino wants that security deposit back.

TMZ reported that Giganti claims Sorrentino ripped the pool liner, put bottles at the bottom of the pool and holes in the walls of the home.

With this landlord dispute behind him, Sorrentino now faces federal tax fraud charges.  Sorrentino and his brother Marc were charged with one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States. Marc faces three counts of filing false returns and Mike faces two counts plus one count of failing to file a tax return for 2011.

They pleaded not guilty and a trial has been set for Dec. 2.
