Scrappy Defends Marriage Proposal
Scrappy and Erica Dixon haven’t been seeing eye to eye regarding their marriage after he proposed to her on the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion show.
The LHHA struggling couple have been going through the motions for longer than most, accusing each other of being thirsty for fame, unfaithful, and everything in between.
Though Scrappy admits to his addiction to the sticky wicked and why he is headed to rehab. This is why Scrappy is calling a truce with Erica while sitting down with Ryan Cameron of V-103 radio in Atlanta to clear the air before he heads to rehab.
Here are some highlights from the interview:
On his “mary jane” habit and heading to rehab:
“I’m really just trying to leave everything alone and take that natural happiness and good feeling that God gives you. Before you ever get into [kush], alcohol and any other stuff everybody had that natural high and that happiness and it’s way better.”
On Erica claiming that he only proposed to help his image:
“It [the proposal] was definitely genuine, I spent a lot of money on the ring for God’s sake. All my hard work earned money and she had to spend nothing.”
On be blamed for the break up and how he really feels about Erica now:
“Everybody likes to point the finger. Anything I ever did to Erica….if she felt it was in a bad way or bad sense then I’m sorry. It ain’t nothing but love coming from over here. That’s the mother of my child and somebody I had a lot of history with.”
On Erica’s definition of love being different from his:
“I know what love is and I know who ain’t showing me love. So if my little mess ups say that I’m not genuine with it and I’m not showing love, then maybe we all need to rethink what love is.”
