CelebnMusic247.com reports that rapper Casanova got in trouble with internal departmental charges for doing the #junebugchallenge during a video visitation.
The purpose of the #junebugchallenge is to dance in the strangest locations one can think of, but a New York jail might not have been the best choice as an inmate.
In the short clip which was posted to Casanova’s Instagram page, the rapper can be seen doing the dance in a jail cell. Pictures were also posted to the Instagram page
Recording videos and taking pictures during a video visitation is prohibited by the Westchester County Department of Correction.
Westchester County Department of Correction revoked Casanova and the woman’s video visitation privileges, Westchester Correction Commissioner Joseph Spano said. Casanova faces another internal charge for not wearing a mask.
Spano said:
I’m happy to say we don’t have a lot of issues with video visits because inmates know it’s a privilege, not a right.
Casanova Charges:
Casanova, currently signed to Roc Nation, was charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and firearms possession. He turned himself in before the holidays and has been in jail since a judge has tossed out any chance of bail.
Casanova was deemed a danger to society recently by a judge no thanks to a VLAD TV interview that got him locked up in the first place.
He is in part of a racketeering case against 18 alleged members of the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation” gang and is being held in Westchester County Jail in Valhalla, N.Y.
The gang is charged with a litany of crimes, including the killing in September of a 15-year-old in Poughkeepsie and defrauding programs meant for people suffering economic hardship because of the pandemic. – USAToday
Casanova is not charged with killing the child.
