What started as two childhood friends has quickly become the new phenomenom. This super-group consisting of Quin Dot C and Mac Sug, met when they were in the fourth grade. Who knew that together they would establish a career in the music business. There are many destinations in life and if you would have asked these guys, becoming rappers weren’t one of them. That’s why we chose to name the group “Lauderdale County” not only because it is the place where we are from but because we carry the spirit of our city. Lauderdale County is a small place north of memphis.
Not many know where it is, but for the people that do, you can’t help but feel overwhelmed with pride. It’s easy making it out of places like “Brooklyn” or “Compton” because of the spotlight that has been put on these cities. Now try to image making it out of Lauderdale County, where the biggest thing to happen around here is “Alex Haley” the writer of roots. We are only trying to give hope back to where we are from. Our music is victorious and embodies a place that is waiting for a chance to shine. Celebrate with us as we usher in a new era in hip-hop.
