CelebNMusic247.com reports that the 5 people are gang members who are also responsible for a fatal shooting at the Rose Bowl last year.

If you recall, Pop Smoke was killed in February of this year. Authorities believe rising rapper Pop Smoke was shot and killed during a Los Angeles home-invasion robbery in February.

Bashar Barakah Jackson, best known as Pop Smoke was Shot dead in his home following a social media post. Los Angeles police have come to the conclusion that three men and two teenage boys likely went to the home because they knew Pop Smoke was there from social media posts.

Now, the suspects are identified as Corey Walker, 19, of Los Angeles; Jaquan Murphy, 21, of Los Angeles; and Keandre D. Rodgers, 18, of Los Angeles. The other two are juveniles and their names were not released. The teens were 15 and 17 years old.

All are believed to be members of a South Los Angeles gang, which Tippet would not name, and at least some of them are believed to be linked to the 2019 homicide of an 18-year-old man, Kamryn Stone, when a fight escalated into a shooting outside the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

The adult suspects were arrested Thursday and are being held on $1 million bail.

What is interesting is that only Pop Smoke was shot and killed. No one in his entourage was killed. Though, they are not believed to be associated with the gang, says Capt. Jonathan Tippet of the LAPD.

The robbery took place after Pop Smoke posted pictures of him posing by an infinity pool in the home’s backyard, as well as a picture of the Los Angeles skyline from what was likely the house’s backyard. Then one of his entourage decided to put a picture of a gift bag tagged with the Hollywood Hills address and a different photo showed him posing by a Ranger Rover in a spot where the home’s address was partly visible in the background.

Was it deliberate or was it an accident that the address was visible???

We cannot stress it enough, social media IS NOT YOUR FRIEND! NEVER post your address, landmarks, or anything that can giveaway your location. The best thing is to STOP posting like you are untouchable.
