Nicki Minaj Tries to Make Headlines with Harriet Tubman Comment

When you are looking for a way to make headlines, Nicki Minaj has found a new way by pissing everyone off with her Harriet Tubman comparison.

See, Nicki Minaj doesn’t care at all about her Harriet Tubman statement, she’s just trying to make headlines so everyone talks about her again. Read on…

CelebNMusic247.com isn’t shocked by the news that Nicki Minaj stirred the pot to get the media and social media to talk about her.

Nicki Minaj just dropped her Queen album, but the reviews are in and it’s mixed. We argee with with Joe Budden on multiple levels. As for our favorite tracks, they are, “Majesty,” “Hard White,” “Nip Tuck,” “Good Form,” “LLC” and “Coco Chanel.”

Joes Budden and his crew weighed in on Nicki’s new album Queen saying that the album came out to mixed reviews, but they thought the album was better than expected.

Joe, and Mal both said they’re not in her demographic. Overall, they felt that her album was good. Joe thought the album was cool. He feels that he’s been watching Nicki, saying “Ganja Burns” is his standout track. Then, he explains that he felt the set up for the album was great setup until she gets to the Biggie, DMX verse.

He explains that all the Cardi subs are a waste. Then, the fact she attacks people that don’t write her own tracks, which she stated during her Funk Flex interview. Bottom line Nicki is focused dumbs**t. The point out that she acts like a child and not a superstar. Joe points out that “Ganja Burns” sounds like it was done last year. He also feels that “Majesty” sounds dated.

Joe says he feels that Nicki didn’t create her own songs. He explains that she is more of an insert verse type artist, NOT producing and creating her own songs. She may write her lyrics, but she is NOT producing the tracks. Track #3 “Barbie Dreamz,” her attention seeking song, is excruciating bad.

Budden straight up says “Hard White” is what Nicki is all about, but the album is all over the place. And in traditional review terms, the album is not cohesive because she is trying to satisfy too many audiences. There is no focus. She NEEDS to really go in the studio and flush it out and come up with the concept and build on it. Joe makes it clear that he is missing Nicki Minaj and this is her Queen album. This is the album that is definitive and she is not giving anyone The “Queen.” The problem with Queen is that Nicki Minaj is trying to be too many versions of Nicki. She is certified a pop star, but she’s serving two audiences, but it fails to succeed.

He explains that the second half of Queen is a whole different N***a. His standouts are “Ganja Burns,” “Hard White,” “Nip Tuck,” and “LLC.”

Joe Budden says that Nicki Minaj NEEDS a rebrand, and the feud with Safaree, the Funk Flex interview and weighing in on Meek Mill in “Nip Tuck” was a step back.

Meanwhile, Nicki instantly hated on Travis Scott’s Astroworld after she lost the #1 spot to Astroworld. Nicki is still SALTY with Travis — she’s been griping about it all week — and it doesn’t sound like she’ll get over the 2nd place any time soon.
