CelebNMusic247.com enjoyed the visuals and theatrics of Puscifer. It was an extraordinary set that told a story.
Aftershock fans loved it. Los Angeles native and Lead singer Maynard James Keenan, headed up his crew of Macho Libre’s for an exciting show. Tool and A Perfect Circle lead singers third project is Puscifer. It way different from that of Tool and A Perfect Circle. It’s like Maynard has three alter egos and this one is more of a “creative subconscious” of what is going on in the mind and expression of Maynard.
If you’re a fan of Maynard, then you will love this, the music is similar to Tool and A Perfect Circle. The music is great, but there was so much going on during the performance it felt like the key element of his story was lost in visual stimulation. Overall it was cool.
The band was originally named Umlaut, but Keenan changed it to Puscifer, which is considered a pseudonym for his solo work. The band members include; Maynard James Keenan, Carina Round, Mat Mitchell, Jeff Friedl, Mahsa Zargaran and Paul Barker.
Here is Puscifer’s setlist from Aftershock:
