Seems MMG artist Meek Mill is still heated over his Maybach Music Group founder losing the deal of a lifetime with Reebok!
It’s been nearly a month since Rick Ross was dropped by Reebok, and while Ross may have thanked the brand“for their hard work and dedication,” his artist Meek Mill is on the war path. Mill has NOT let it go and is now comparing Reebok to a pimp, saying the brand benefits greatly from Hip Hop culture.
Mill didn’t hesitate in expressing his distaste for Reebok telling Civil TV about his feeling towards Rosay being dropped.
Could it be Mill no longer gets free shoes from Rick, so he’s mad?
Here is what the rapper explained:
“Fuck Reebok. We wear Puma’s. That’s what we do. We wear Puma’s. As far as the Rick Ross situation with Reebok, I just don’t approve of none of that. I don’t approve of no companies trying to dip and dab in our culture and then when you make a mistake they dip out on you. So, it’s like they still making money off of our brand.”
He adds this statement along with a comparison to a pimp and his women.
Meek explains:
“I’m very against that. Ross is off of Reebok now, Reebok still gonna make money off of Ross. You know what I’m saying? Before Rick Ross and Swizz and Tyga, it was no Reebok. These companies they actually follow our culture and make money off of our culture and pay us like a pimp…And me, I’m against that,” said Meek. “Any way you fire me, we gonna tear your shit back down. Ain’t nobody wearing Reebok.”
Awww! poor baby, but all we are hearing after line 2 of his response is “wha, wha, wha, wha, wha…..!”
Mill is coming off greedy and completely disrespectful! its ignorance on crack….!
Mill has also announced his Dream Catcher 3 album is officially pushed back with no released date scheduled.
