CelebNMusic247.com has just heard that Jim Jones plans to retire After two more albums. Capo also says that he’s back to being an independent Artist as well.
Jim Jones talks about Harlem being EXPLOSIVE in the summer and gentrification. He says that he’s with the change but the change doesn’t seem to helping the people that grew up there. Jim also talks about being on reality TV.
He talks about how the money makes you your own man…Juelz Santana was his own man, but the Dipset split happened because Cam finally got knowledge of his worth. Once that happened Cam and Juelz brotherly love ended. Therefore, Dipset was over.
What is interesting is when Jim Jones tells The Breakfast Club he was the enforcer aka “The Dudda Man.” Charlamange says he’s confused so he gets Capo to clarify the cause of all the problems and his fallout with Jay Z and Nas. Jones says Cam’ron was the one who caused the riffs with everyone. DJ Envy goes down the list saying, “you got into beef with Roc-a-fella [Jay Z] because of it.” Jim responds “Facts.” Envy continues, “you got into beef with True Life [French Montana].” Jim calls French a “Bird”!
In case you don’t know what a Bird is?
It means “a woman that one is aware of as being materially obsessed and morally corrupt!”
Da-a-a-mn, but we can see that.
Jones says that he got in those situations because Cam’ron was his brother and their mentality was us against them! Jones adds that he took that position to make Dipset a known name! He didn’t expect his team to fall apart. He explains that he and Cam didn’t have an OG to look out for them. When Envy asks about Dame Dash. He commends him for helping back in the day, but these days Dash is a “Bird.”
He talks about how they came from the gutta [high school days]. Juelz connected with them when he was 16. Jim says:
“I’m never really playing, even when I’m joking…I’m never playing…I’m not build like that.”
Basically, Jim Jones discusses his fallout with Cam’ron, his new album “The Kitchen”, wanting to patch things up with Jay Z and Nas, plus much more with The Breakfast Club.
Listen to this interview because it is extremely interesting especially when Charlamagne The God calls him out on being a Cancer and never letting go.
Jim says:
“My petty runs deep…Petty Wap!”
Wow…
He also touches on the new wave of Harlem rappers like ASAP Ferg and more…
