(CelebNMusic247-News) Jay-Z Missed Out On “Trouble Man“
According an interview with T.I. and XXL there was one high-profile collaboration on his new album Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head that didn’t happen.
Apparently, Jay-Z was slatted to appear on the track “G Season” but due scheduling conflicts Hov was unable to do his part on the track so Tip replaced him with MMG rapper Meek Mill.
Here’s the drop:
T.I. explains:
“I asked Jay to get on [‘G Season’].”
“I sent word to Jay-Z, I asked him to get on it. I know he had a lot of sh*t going on, so he never got around to it. I finally ran into Meek in the club—we was at, when Kanye did that thing at the post office about five, six weeks ago. We was there together and I was like, Hey, man, I got something I want you to do. We left there, got something to eat, then we went to Just Blaze’s studio in Harlem and laid the shit down right there.”
