CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Tomica Woods-Wright, has filed a lawsuit against her own stepson, Lil Eazy E, born Eric Darnell Wright.

Tomica Woods-Wright is claiming that Lil Eazy E didn’t get the rights to use the Ruthless Records name and N.W.A.! After Eazy died in 1995, Tomica and her company, Comptown Records, took over control of her late husband’s Ruthless Records

On Tuesday, Woods-Wright filed a federal trademark infringement suit against her stepson. We guess it’s all about business and making money for her.

Her lawsuit claims that Lil Eazy-E and his business partner, Arnold White, set up a website at ruthlessrecordsinc.com, where they claim to be doing business as Ruthless Records. The website promotes concerts and offers Ruthless Records t-shirts for sale.

The website states:

“Our old-school outlook mixed with cutting edge technology makes Ruthless Records Inc. a leader in the music business. Eazy-E’s first-born son and longtime friend are carrying on the legacy that started it all.”

In 2016, Lil Eazy E and his business partner tried to form a corporation called NWA-LLC. They hoped to obtain a trademark for Ruthless Records Inc. to use for an online retail store.

However, according to the lawsuit, the U.S. Patent office rejected their application on the basis that their mark was “confusingly similar” with the Ruthless Records trademark already owned by Woods-Wright.

The lawsuit also details the numerous trademarks Woods-Wright’s company has already registered. These include the use of Ruthless and N.W.A for music, film, video games and clothing. – DallasBlack

No offense to Lil Eazy E, but why doesn’t he try something of his own. Stop living your father’s dreams – create your legacy, so you don’t have to deal with your stepmom in any way. Why NOT try a different name, which we will DM you. It’s hard!

Think outside of the box! Plus the name we thought of for you is a great extension of your father’s legacy.
