Amity Affliction originated in Gympie, Queensland in 2003. Though, in 2014, The Australian metal band, Let The Ocean Take Me The was that perfectly executed album that put them on the map. vocalist Joel Birch described the album as the “darkest” release of their career.

AA has had a few road bumps in their career, but the metal band has stuck to their guns and stayed true to their signature sound, refusing to alter it. This is why they’re still around.
