Just because the weather’s getting warmer doesn’t mean men have an excuse to be short on style.
Shorts are, in fact, having a bit of a fashion moment in the menswear world, with designers pairing them with everything, including business coats and ties. Now, this is not a look we recommend trying at most places of business (unless you work at Vogue or Celebnmusic247, of course), but guys can take a cue from the runway — and fashion magazines — by opting for bright colors, fun patterns and slim cuts for nights and weekends. Here’s how to wear men’s shorts and look fab, not funny.
Don’t be afraid of patterns or color. Bright hues and wild prints are a big trend in shorts and pants for women, but men needn’t miss out on the fun. Go ahead and rock a bright orange, yellow or green pair of shorts – just pair it with a neutral T-shirt or button down. Want to try checks, stripes, camo, palm trees or even polka dots? Go for it. Just add a simple chambray shirt and white sneakers for a relaxed weekend vibe.
