CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Nick Jonas admitted he was the one who called time on the Jonas Brothers on ‘Watch What Happens Live’!
Nick told Andy Cohen that the band’s break-up was difficulty for the family, but they’re all good now.
He explains:
“It was a very tough conversation, and it left the family kind of shaken up for a little while. I mean we were about to start a tour. We were two days from starting a tour,” he told host Andy Cohen. “We’re good now.”
“I have a beautiful niece. My brother has a family. Joe’s band DNCE is doing very well. It’s good for everybody and it’s good that it happened because I think we all grew from it, but it was very challenging for a little while.”
Back in 2013, the brothers NEVER gave a definitive reason for the split.
Kevin Jonas said:
“I think it was time, and for us it took some time getting there, but we feel like it’s time that the Jonas Brothers come to an end.”
Nick adds:
“In a nutshell, I said, ‘Look, I feel like we’ve had some complications within the group for a long time without addressing them. I think this train will fall off the tracks without really getting real about some of the concerns and some of the limitations that we may feel as individuals in the group.’”
Nick’s brother Kevin told Oprah on the ‘Oprah: Where Are They Now?’ series:
“We were forced to be together because we were working together; when that’s no longer there, then you make the personal decision and choice to spend the time or not.”
“You learn very quickly where you feel fulfilled and where you don’t.”
“Now our relationship is much better, stronger. Joe and Nick see each other on the road constantly for different radio shows and different things. I’m not there as much, but that’s because my life here is where it’s at, for me.”
Basically everything has an expiration date.
