At 1:30AM Sunday gunfire rang out in the 10K nightclub during Chris Brown’s X Listen party/Pre VMA-Party where Suge Knight got shot two times.
After the shooting many VMA artist’s were scrambling for cover and hitting social media to tell the world what had just happened.

Out very own Glass The Tramp was caught up in the melee and reached out to us in the early morning hours. CelebNMusic247.com was shut down as our offices where effected by the 6.0 earthquake that damaged Napa, CA. We were left without power up until an hour ago. However, Glass did inform us about the shooting.
Shortly after Sunday’s violence unfolded, Brown toook to social media to weighed in about the shooting that took place at his party that was held at 10K nightclub in West Hollywood on Sunset Blvd.
He wrote:
“It’s disappointing that we as a society can’t have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with the bulls–t!!!”
He posted this video of himself partying to his own song “Loyal” before the incident took place:
To recap:
At an unofficial MTV VMAs pre-party hosted by Chris Brown, and former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight, 49, was shot and injured. He was rushed to the hospital, but we were told Suge walked himself out of the event where he was shot two times.
Many sites claimed Brown was also shot, but the were misinformed as Breezy walked away unharmed, well except for his ego.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement obtained by TheWrap that two other people were also struck by gunfire, including a 32-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman.
All of the victims were taken to local hospitals and are expected to recover, the Sheriff’s Department said. As of 10:30 a.m., Knight was listed in stable condition. The other two victims’ conditions were not known.
Witnesses/partygoer Hayley Belle described a chaotic scene to KABC television LA:
“I looked down through the glass to the bottom level, and people were pushing,”
“Most people on the floor, people were pushing, running, falling on glass, glass smashing, but the only person still standing was Chris Brown at this point.”
As for the gunman? He fled the scene and still remains at large!
This is NOT the first time Suge Knight has been shot at a VMA pre-party. The former Death Row Records CEO was shot in 2005, and back in 1996 during the fatal shooting of the legendary Tupac Shakur in Vegas. Much of Suge’s music career has been surrounded by violence and he’s been in and out of prison.
MTV surely distanced themselves from the gathering in a statement which reads:
“MTV has no affiliation nor is connected to this event in any way.”
The VMAs will be held Sunday evening at the Forum in Inglewood, and will air live on MTV at 9/8c.
