RZA broke his silence yesterday stating that AZ was the aggressor in the Russell Crowe-AZ situation which got her thrown out of the private party. He felt he NEEDED to weigh in after Banks called him a “Chump.”
RZA refuted Banks claim that Crowe attacked her, called her an “obnoxious erratic individual. He also revealed that he had been helping Banks negotiate a record deal. Though, Banks fired back at RZA and confirmed that she “will be moving forward with pressing charges” against Crowe.
Everyone who attended Crowe’s dinner party at a Beverly Hills hotel last Saturday is in agreement that Banks picked a fight with Crowe and deserved to be thrown out.
Now Banks stuck to her guns and insisted that her record deal negotiations are proceeding without RZA.
Azealia Banks Responds to RZA’s Statement:
She took to social media stating:
“Ok so, do you guys all know that this ‘friend’ Rza speaks of insisted we cut rza out of the deal and continue on with my record deal?”
“You guys clearly don’t get what’s happening here. My record deal is still on the table…. RZA is just getting cut out of it for being a cornball.”
She went on to admit that she called Crowe “old and fat” at the dinner party.
“The absolute god honest truth is that Russell bagged on my music videos, saying he could shoot them better on an iPhone.”
“I docked it in my mental Rolodex and got him back for it when the time to roast him presented itself again. I told him he was old and fat, the entire room gasped and THAT was when I became a target.”
Isn’t it interesting how Banks story has changed. Before she said his music was kid pop and that was what got her thrown out. RZA said that she was going to cut a female guest face and Russell was trying to stop it, so he threw her out of the party.
Now she is saying she disrespected Russell calling him “old and fat” because he videos looked cheap? Sorry to say Azealia, but your video do look like crap. The imagery and all the green screen is played. There is NO originality in the videos. Just dark images that make no sense to the music. We understand why he said it, but its his prerogative. You as an artist should dust it off instead of lashing out like a Love & Hip Hop cast member.
