Ellen Degeneres Will Return As Host For 18th Season!

Despite all the chatter about Ellen Degeneres being replaced on her self titled talk show, she will return to host the 18th season. Read on…

CelebNMusic247.com reports that ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ is still being under an internal investigation over allegations that staff was subjected to a “toxic work environment.”

Producers on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ have been accused of bullying by several former employees, as well as sexual misconduct claims being placed against two of the show’s top executives.

NOTE: The claims are against the show’s top executives, NOT Ellen, she was not accused of any wrongdoing in the allegations.

Ellen DeGeneres said that she was very hurt by the allegations. The 62-year-old host even sent a letter of apology to her staff last week over their experiences.

The investigation was set up after one current employee and 10 former staff members spoke to Buzzfeed to claim they had to work in a culture of racism, fear, and intimidation while working for the show. The staff blamed senior management for unacceptable conditions.

Following the allegations, Ellen’s memo to staff read:

On day one of our show, I told everyone in our first meeting that ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ would be a place of happiness – no one would ever raise their voice, and everyone would be treated with respect. Obviously, something changed, and I am disappointed to learn that this has not been the case. And for that, I am sorry. Anyone who knows me knows it’s the opposite of what I believe and what I hoped for our show.

Speculation had been rife that the 62-year-old host could be replaced but that is NOT happening. It has also been confirmed that an internal probe by Warner Media is currently taking place and involves a third-party firm.

‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ – which is produced by Telepictures – is scheduled to return on September 9 and spin-off program ‘Ellen’s Game of Games’ will begin shooting in the studio on August 24.

Kevin Hart Hailed Ellen Degeneres as “one of the dopest people on the planet!”

In an Instagram post, Kevin wrote:

It’s crazy to see my friend go thru what she’s going thru publicly. I have known Ellen for years and I can honestly say that she’s one of the dopest people on the f****** planet. She has treated my family and my team with love and respect from day 1.

The internet has become a crazy world of negativity….we are falling in love with peoples down fall. It’s honestly sad…When did we get here? I stand by the ones that I know and that I love. Looking forward to the future where we get back to loving one another….this hate s*** has to stop. Hopefully, it goes out of style soon. (sic)

The ‘Central Intelligence’ star added:

This post is not meant to disregard the feelings of others and their experiences…It’s simply to show what my experiences have been with my friend. Love you for life Ellen. (sic)
