(CelebNMusic247-News) Slim The Mobster Confirms Being Dropped

Slim The Mobster may have had his moment on Twitter attacking G-Unit leader 50 Cent, but shortly after his vicious spasm on the micro publicity site Fif announced that Slim was dropped from Dr. Dre‘s Aftermath label.

The two have been going head to head for some time, sparring via Twitter for quite some time, however, 50 likely tweeted the news to embarrass Slim.

Nonetheless, Slim, born Anthony Johnson, confirmed that he is in fact no longer on Aftermath, but said that the news is old at this point.

Slim tweeted:

“I been off the label since October 17 …. somebody update that d*ck head @50cent.”

Obviously 50 Cent already knew about Slim being dropped he just wanted to pour salt in his wound.

Despite being dropped, Slim spoke with SOHH about a potential but botched Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit Records deal.

Slim told SOHH about having an opportunity to sign a three-way deal with Aftermath, Shady and G-Unit Records:

“It was in the air for a minute.”

“It was like too many big heads. It’s hard. You can’t have too many bosses on one [deal]. I just decided to stick with Dre and make a name for my own company and that’s where I’m at with it. … Everybody had a different job. 50 was my person to go door-to-door, like, ‘Get out here and roll to the shows.’ That’s what his job was. Dre was more to make sure that the music is right and [Eminem] was to make sure that lyrically, everything was where it was supposed to be. That was the thing that we were shooting for. I’m actually anticipating working on this record with Marshall [Eminem] for my [upcoming] album.”
