The movie Pitch Perfect which ended up being a box office smash and now Universal Pictures has green lit the sequel.
The movie that stars Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp and breakout/MTV Movie Awards host (2 years running) Rebel Wilson has been confirmed by Universal Pictures for a release in 2015!
Not only did the movie kick start Rebel into pop culture celebism, it was also the breakout comedy hit of last year is still gaining steam after agreat performance at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards over the weekend and a new music video for “Cups”featuring star Anna Kendrick.
The head of Universal Pictures, Adam Fogelson revealed the news during the studio’s CinemaCon presentation on Tuesday (April 15) and confirmed that original screenwriter Kay Cannon is back for the project.
