Jussie Smollett USED Osundairo Brothers; Police Statement in Question

When it comes to Empire star Jussie Smollett it has been determined that he took advantage of Osundairo brothers.

With that said there is another problem lurking and that it the police statement which we reported a couple of weeks back where Chicago police confirmed that the Osundairo brother was paid for training by Jussie Smollett. Read on for details…

CelebNMusic247.com reports that the Osundairo brothers’ attorney is clarifying her statement regarding the check which was for training a favor to GMA.

The Osundario brothers can’t deny being spotted buying ski masks and rope before the staged incident with Jussie Smollet.

According to the Osundairo brothers’ attorney, she states:

The check for $3,500 was just for the incident is not a full representation of what transpired. My clients had an agreement to provide personal training services to Mr. Smollett. To say the check was also intended for a favor beyond the training is an accurate statement.

Ola and Abel Osundairo’s attorney, Gloria Schmidt, spoke out on their behalf Monday on ‘GMA,’ confirming what the check was for.

She said:

The check was compensation for a training and nutrition program designed to get Jussie in shape for a music video shoot.

You’ll recall … during police Superintendent Eddie Johnson‘s news conference, which is now raising eyebrows with investigators where he said, point blank:

Smollet paid $3,500 to stage this attack and drag Chicago’s reputation through the mud in the process.

So, you gotta wonder … if the police got that detail wrong, what else did they get wrong? You can bet Smollett’s attorney, Mark Geragos, will raise that issue.

TMZ reports:

Remember, this also comes on the heels of a grand jury handing up a 16-count indictment against Jussie — where it appears they nailed the actor for EACH allegedly false statement he made during 2 police interviews. He was charged with a Felony. The grand jury arrived at that remarkable number — SIXTEEN — by following the lead of prosecutors who presented the case.

So, did law enforcement have it out for Smollett? If the case gets to trial, it will not be a surprise if Geragos grills the police Superintendent like a slab of raw meat.

Not to mention the police have recently issued an internal investigation.
