(CelebNMusic247-NewsJames Taylor Sings Wrong National Anthem:

James Taylor started to sing ‘America the Beautiful‘ instead of the national anthem before the start of Game 2 of the World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Here’s the drop:

Veteran singer James Taylor flubbed the beginning of the national anthem Thursday night when he sang at Game 2 of the World Series at Boston’s Fenway Park.

The “Sweet Baby James” singer, 65, began singing the words to “America the Beautiful” before quickly switching over to the “Star-Spangled Banner.”

Taylor quickly reovered from his mistake and sang the rest of the anthem without a hitch.

The mix-up is easily explained: Taylor was scheduled to sing “America the Beautiful” during the seventh inning of the game. He moved into the correct song quickly, but some viewers still caught the error.

“Even when James Taylor messes up he makes it sound good,” twitter user Marc Bertrand wrote. “Smooth transition right there.”

Really James, Really? At the World Series? We shaking our heads….
