(CelebNMusic247 – News) Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Dad James Avery Has Died
Were are sad to report that the beloved dad on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” James Avery has died at the age of 68!
CelebNMusic247 has learned that James Avery (Uncle Phil) died last night on New Years Eve in an Glendale, CA hospital. Avery had undergone open heart surgery and took a turn for the worse late yesterday.
His wife, Barbara, had been at his bedside but left for a short period of time and when she came back, she learned he had just died.
Avery’s TV son, Carlton aka Alfonso Ribeiro took to his Twitter and his Facebook page to post his condolences.
Alfonso writes:
I’m deeply saddened to say that James Avery has passed away. He was a second father to me. I will miss him greatly. pic.twitter.com/UrW0EeBFbO
