Dez Bryant Updates Fans On Injury!!!

On Monday, the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant Updates Fans On Injury, letting them know how his surgery went.

According to a a source Bryant had surgery to repair a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot which happened during the Dallas Cowboys’ Week 1 victory over the New York Giants, via Scott Polacek of the BleacherReport.  Following the game, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said:

“The initial timetable for his return is four to six weeks.”

Since the injury Bryant has taken to his Twitter to report that the procedure “went great.”

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett pegged Bryant’s recovery time at four to six weeks, which could keep him out until the Oct. 26 rematch with the New York Giants or the Nov. 1 meeting with the Seattle Seahawks at AT&T Stadium. A source told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, however, that the Cowboys are expecting Bryant to be out four to eight weeks, reports ESPN’s Todd Archer.
