BottleRock 2015 MUST SEE Bands Pt 1!!!

If you’re heading out to Bottle Rock Napa 2015, then we have BottleRock 2015 MUST SEE Bands Pt 1, like Wild Ones, The Record Company and Trampled by Turtles.

First off, we have the pop group, Wild Ones (Thomas Himes, Danielle Sullivan, Clayton Knapp, Nick Vicario, Seve Sheldon) who released their debut album Keep It Safe.

The album emerged after well over a year of gestation, is bigger than the sum of its meticulously gathered parts. Even now, the band’s sound continues to evolve. Wild Ones’ members come from vastly disparate musical backgrounds—guitarist Nick Vicario was a Portland punk icon long before he turned 18; bassist Max Stein is a classical composer—and all of their experiences inform pop music that is influenced by everything from German techno to American R&B. These are sounds that don’t usually come packaged together, but in the able hands of Wild Ones, they seem like a perfectly natural fit.

Wild Ones will be releasing their second album in 2015.

The band sat with Bottle Rock to talk about performing at the 2015 festival on Saturday:

The Record Company is definitely not a band you want to miss at BottleRock Napa this year. Catch them on Saturday May 30th!

THE RECORD COMPANY (Los Angeles, CA) has gone from recording their junkiest instruments in the bass player’s living room to playing with a diverse range of music’s top acts includingBB King, Buddy Guy, Charles Bradley, The Wood Brothers, Social Distortion, and Robert Randolph. This rock/roots/blues trio has been described by Time Out L.A. as if “John Lee Hooker and The Stooges had a love-child”.

Their music has been featured in over 25 commercial, film, and television placements including ads for Coors Lights, Subaru, Showtime’s “Shameless”, ABC’s “Nashville”, CBS’s “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and the theatrical trailer for “Last Vegas”starring Robert DeNiro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline.

The band has also gained a new fanbase by way of their cover of the Grateful Dead’s “New Speedway Boogie”, which was chosen by The Dead as one of the top covers of their “Dead Covers Project”. The band was featured by The Dead on their website (dead.net) for the month of July 2013.

The band’s live show has quickly become acclaimed throughout North America and has drawn capacity audiences from Los Angeles to Montreal.

The Third group you NEED to see is Trampled by Turtles and word is you just might cry if you miss Trampled by Turtles performing at BottleRock Napa on Sunday May 31st.
