We understand we all have dreams and sometimes our talents lead us to our dreams, but wait until you hear this. CelebNMusic247.com has learned via SandraRose that the Cleveland Cavaliers 29-year-old point guard Daniel “Booby” Gibson wants to be a rapper.

Oh Lawrdy, he we go again with another athlete wanting to be a rapper. When will these guys learn that they NEED to stay in their lane where they excel as an athlete.

According to Daniel “Booby” Gibson, the NBA player destined for greatness after he led his Cavaliers to the NBA playoffs in his rookie season. Instead, Booby spent the last of his NBA checks on studio time, honing his craft in recording booths and in smoky nightclubs.

Gibson finally announced his decision to quit the NBA on Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” telling Charlamagne Tha God:

“I’m gonna give up my NBA career to start rapping.”

Charlamagne Tha God chuckled and then asked:

“Who you think a better rapper, you or Birdman?”

Of course, Gibson responded as if he didn’t understand the question, rapping:

“My biggest competition is reflection.”

What is sad about all of this is Booby has no clue that he already looks like a joke to the music industry and of course they will take his money and let him record songs. There are plenty of stupid athletes out there that they take advantage of, so Booby just adds himself to the list.
