Nobody has moderated more Housewives chaos than Andy Cohen — and in his new scrapbook, he is finally grading his own performance.
Andy Cohen has a new book, Andy’s Bravo Scrapbook, and per Reality Blurb he is using it to open up about the reunions he has hosted — including the ones he wishes he had handled differently. At 58, per Reality Blurb, Cohen has had a front-row seat to all of the drama, which makes his hindsight required reading for any reunion fan.
The Bullhorn He Still Regrets
The regret Cohen names first reaches back to Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Per Reality Blurb, at that reunion Kenya Moore famously brought a bullhorn as a prop and used it to go at Porsha Williams, before things escalated and the pair eventually got into a physical altercation.
“One of my big reunion regrets was my lack of foresight about how poorly Kenya’s bullhorn would go down,” Cohen writes, per Reality Blurb. “That incident was one of the low points of the series.”
It is a striking admission: Cohen is drawing a line between a prop that produces a moment and a prop that produces a mess, and putting the bullhorn in the second column — with himself sharing the blame.

The Porsha Call He Got Wrong
Porsha gives him a second, happier regret — the good kind, where you are wrong in the right direction. Per Reality Blurb, Cohen shared that he thought her first reunion, in Season 5, would be her last.
“Season five was Porsha Williams’s first reunion and, I thought, her last,” he states, per Reality Blurb. “I can’t recall now why I was so sure we weren’t going to pick her up, but what I will say is that she absolutely proved herself, not only as a human being, but as a great housewife.”
For a franchise built on second acts, that is about as full a correction as a host can print: the woman Cohen expected to lose became, in his own words, a great Housewife.
Scandoval: The Stress Test
Then there is the reunion that needed a backup plan. Per Reality Blurb, Cohen addressed Vanderpump Rules and the fallout after news broke that Tom Sandoval had been cheating on longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss — the situation that became known as Scandoval.
“The most stressful of all the Vanderpump reunions was, of course, the year of Scandoval,” Cohen notes, per Reality Blurb. “I didn’t think we would get through the day of filming with the three principals involved remaining in the room; I thought that one of them was going to bolt. And because of that, I did three separate interviews with Tom, Ariana, and Raquel the day before the reunion, so that their perspectives and stories would be told very clearly.”
“We didn’t wind up having to use those as much because we got it all in the room,” he adds, per Reality Blurb. “I will never forget the moment Ariana walked out in that dress. Someone who had been part of the ensemble really emerged as an individual force to be reckoned with. That show turned out to be an important part of Bravo history.”
Per Reality Blurb, Cohen’s new book is available wherever books are sold.
The 247 Take — The best reunion hosts make it look like crowd control, so hearing Cohen admit to a prop he misjudged, a Housewife he underestimated and a taping he pre-filmed insurance for is gold. These are not new feuds, just the receipts — annotated by the man who sat in the middle of all of them.
