The Boardwalk Rock Festival is coming back swinging. After last year’s edition was canceled, the Ocean City, Maryland weekender returns May 14–16, 2027 with Iron Maiden, Korn and Bad Omens headlining — one generation of heavy music per night. Full details and tickets are at the festival’s official site, boardwalkrockfest.com.
Korn leads the Friday bill (May 14), with Breaking Benjamin, The Prodigy, Cypress Hill, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, Clutch, Sevendust, Theory of a Deadman, Filter, All Them Witches, Corrosion of Conformity, Eve 6, Local H, Nonpoint and Soil underneath them. Bad Omens top Saturday (May 15), joined by Good Charlotte, Marilyn Manson, Motionless in White, Bullet for My Valentine, Poppy, Tesla, Superheaven, Buckcherry, Drowning Pool, Sponge, Showing Teeth, Tetrarch and Asava. Iron Maiden close the festival on Sunday (May 16), with Alice in Chains, Judas Priest, Sleeping With Sirens, The Pretty Reckless, Down, The Warning, Loathe, The Hu, Apocalyptica, GWAR, Dirty Honey, The Flys and Mac Sabbath rounding out the day.
Tickets moved fast this week: a presale opened Thursday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. ET with one hour of lowest-price GA access, followed by the general onsale at 11 a.m. ET. Passes come in 1-Day and 3-Day General Admission, GA+, VIP and Platinum tiers — GA+ adds a private shaded lounge, air-conditioned restrooms and concierge service, while Platinum brings front-of-stage viewing, complimentary bars and dining, and dedicated entry. Beyond the stages, the festival grounds include the Jolly Roger at the Pier amusement park, plus the restaurants, bars and shops of the Ocean City Boardwalk itself.
The 247 Take — Comeback stories don’t get much louder than this: a festival that lost its 2026 edition answering with Maiden, Priest and Alice in Chains on one day and Korn and Manson on another. Ocean City in May just became a mandatory pilgrimage for the East Coast metal crowd.
