SOC Sequel Dogg Pound 4 Life In Works!!!
There are all kinds of movies in the works since the major success of F Gary Gray’s N.W.A. biopic and now there’s a Straight Outta Compton aka SOC Sequel Dogg Pound 4 Life In Works.
That is what CelebNMusic247.com is hearing according to Daz Dillinger who posted some photos of the potential cast for the upcoming movie Dogg Pound 4 Life.
Dogg Pound 4 Life will apparently continue the olive branch and the roots of the West Coast gangsta rap era that defined the music of Los Angeles.
From Long Beach to Compton there were many artists that birthed an era of music that continued the N.W.A. movement which continues today with The Game, Kendrick Lamar and the upcoming rapper Jon Connor, who is featured on Dr. Dre’s Compton album.

Thanks to Straight Outta Compton brought huge box office success around the country. It not only did well in theaters, but it also helped break Billboard Charts, gaining N.W.A. even more exposure.
With talks of a Welcome to Death Row movie being shopped, it appears that Dogg Pound 4 Life has already started casting and is currently filming.
There is nothing at IMDB about Dogg Pound 4 Life and nothing at the DGA, except for these photos that surfaced on the Internet. The movie is apparently coming from Dr. Dre’s son Curtis Young, who leaked some photos hinting that the movie is already in the works.
Here is what we know: Delmar Drew Arnaud aka Daz Dillinger, the cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg, is the man behind the upcoming biopic, Dogg Pound 4 Life.
Daz Dillinger is the man behind the film – Ice Cube and Dr. Dre are NOT producing this film and it is NOT a sequel. It is another telling of the gangster movement era that dominated a decade of music. This film will focus around Tha Dogg Pound collective.
Dillinger appears to have been given the green light to start work on the project as filming reportedly began at a recording studio in Los Angeles over the weekend. Dillinger shared pictures from the session on Instagram.

Robin Yvette Allen (The Lady of Rage) – Played by herself
DaDa – Tupac

Actor name not mentioned – Nate Dogg
Melvin Jackson Jr. ( J Holiday’s Cousin) released this statement via his Instagram after he landed the role of Kurupt.
Jackson said:
“The Brand of Melvin Jackson Jr new update:
About 3 weeks I booked the role of Kurupt in the Dogg Pound 4 Life Movie. But i couldn’t say anything publicly. All I can say in regards to the movie is, it’s going to be epic!!. Thank you all for the love and support you gave me during my campaign to be considered for the role. I’m thankful for you all for rooting for me and always wanting me to win. This is not just about me it’s about us. I would like to thank my Lord and Savior because nothing would be possible without him!!! Please share and make sure you hash tag #dpg4lifemovie.”
We are curious if they are going to be able get the rights to any of Tupac’s music that is not Dogg Pound, but if they keep it in the family it will most likely be a movie that features all Dogg Pound music.
We hope all the legalities and logistics are taken care of, because we are looking forward to the movie, but a word of advice to Mr. Delmar Drew Arnaud – reach out to IMDB and the DGA to take care of all the legalities unless you all going guerrilla style with this film.
As for the studio, Universal responded to Daz Dillinger announcement, claiming they knew nothing of the project. Universal added that there are no plans to make an official sequel to “Straight Outta Compton,” so for the record, Dogg Pound 4 Life is a stand alone film and will not be part of the Straight Outta Compton Universe.
Despite the studio NOT being involved, like we stated before, we are looking forward to Dillinger’s film.
