After ALL the drama and the mud slinging in the first season of R&B Divas LA Kelly Price and Dawn Robinson made it clear they were not happy with how they portrayed on the hit TV One reality show.
So TV One did what ALL networks do, they trimmed the fat and DUMPS Kelly Price and Dawn Robinson!
Now that it’s confirmed Dawn Robinson and Kelly Price are out officially, TV One has decided to go with R&B singers Chrisette Michele and Leela James.
Michele and James with be joining Lil Mo, Chanté Moore, Claudette Ortiz and Michel’le who has confirmed that they will be returning for a second season.
There is no word if Kelly walked off the series or was AXED, and as for Dawn Robinson, she announced six months ago that she was NOT RETURNING on her Twitter, because she felt the producers were creating drama behind the scenes for ratings!
Robinson Tweeted in September:
“Tweeties, most of u already heard that I did NOT do the reunion, (((GASP))) lol! Ppl act like I missed the 2nd coming of Christ lol! I didnt do it bcuz I dont do bufoonery. I get enuff of that here on my page everyday! Thx 4 understanding…DEETS coming soon xo!”
She then tweeted to fans that she will not be returning for season two of “R&B Divas LA”:
“In my 23 years of being an entertainer, I have never seen THIS kind of evil so Im really cool on season 2.”
Lil Mo adamantly denied Dawn’s accusations, saying back in August:
“Kelly would get so belligerent at times, it was hired security for the set. It got to the point that we didn’t know what face she going to bring in and act like. And that’s real.”
“Yes, we almost got cancelled because someone was acting so extra and that’s getting in the executive’s face. It was uncalled for.”
Season two airs in Spring 2014.
