Denmark’s Lifesick have set their fifth full-length loose on the calendar. When Brutality Becomes The Language arrives January 22nd, 2027 via Metal Blade Records, and the band is marking the announcement with a new single and video, “All Eyes On Me,” that does exactly what its title promises.

The Fredericia five-piece — Simon Shoshan (vocals), Nicolai Lindegaard and Nikolai Lund (guitars), Jeppe Riis Frausing (bass) and Lasse Skyttegaard (drums) — have spent a decade refining a sound built from death metal riffs, fast hardcore energy and breakdowns engineered to clear floors. The new record, following Loved By None, Hated By All, is billed as their most focused and hard-hitting to date: HM-2 crunch, punk jam-room intimacy, and lyrics grounded in survival, confrontation and coming out harder to break.

“All Eyes On Me” is the album’s fourth single, following earlier salvos “Hard To Kill,” “At War With You” and “Die With Me,” and it comes with a Daniel Priess-directed video. The band doesn’t mince words about what it’s for: “‘All Eyes On Me’ is built for the pit. It moves from groovy riffs into heavy beatdown sections and ends in a crushing breakdown made to clear the floor. Lyrically, it’s about being impossible to ignore — growing in someone’s head, refusing to disappear and making sure your name sticks.”

Once again, the record was made with longtime collaborator Jacob Bredahl, the former Hatesphere vocalist the band credits as an integral part of the process. “Jacob understands exactly what we want Lifesick to sound like and how to push us to get there,” the band notes. “At this point he almost feels like the sixth member of the band.” Brad Boatright handled mastering.

As is becoming a Lifesick tradition, the tracklist is stacked with guests from bands in their orbit: Copenhagen hardcore luminaries Jonathan Albrechtsen (Rot Away) and Victor Kaas (Eyes) join “No Bark, All Bite”; Nitisart “Mike” Chaiburi of Whispers guests on “Damaged Goods”; Hallgeir Skretting Enoksen (Purified In Blood) enhances “Scum”; and Christoffer Bach Kofoed (Neckbreakker) appears on “Assassination Culture.”

The 247 Take — Four singles deep and Lifesick still hasn’t played a soft note. What makes this band dangerous isn’t just the HM-2 buzzsaw — it’s the discipline: ten tracks, four guest spots from their own scene, a producer they call their sixth member, and a title that reads like a mission statement for 2027. January is a long way off, but “All Eyes On Me” makes the wait feel like a warning.
