Get the details on the “Take Care” rapper Pulling Pop Up at Iowa’s Drake University…
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Iowa’s Drake University student campaign for Canadian rapper to show up at their school paid off.
In another shot of his perfect butt, Drizzy showed his support for Drake University at his show before heading to the campus. The OVO rapper pulled a pop up at the University, the only problem is that only one lucky student was awake to witness the summit of Drakes.
The “Started at the Bottom” rapper stopped by an empty campus around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on his way out of Des Moines, according to KTLA sister station WHO in Des Moines.
Drake Student Body President Thalia Anguiano said:
“Now we’re in disbelief together that it actually happened.”
The “One Dance” MC snapped a picture in front of the DU sign and posted it to Instagram. Then, he stopped by two sororities, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Kappa Alpha Theta.
Ben Scott, a junior at Drake said:
“They missed it and I felt so bad for them.”
Most everyone inside was asleep.
Scott lives across the street at Theta Chi and was still up after seeing “No New Friends” rapper in concert at Wells Fargo Arena added:
“I think I was the only one that actually saw him and spoke to him which was phenomenal. I can’t believe it happened.”
“We just had a really brief conversation, ‘Hey, do you think anyone is awake? What’s going on?’” he said.
Anguiano weighed in saying:
“I missed him, it was really close. At least I can say Drake was on my campus.”
See, you NEVER know what can happen when you are asleep. Oh well, maybe next time. He recently apologized to fans for his injury.
