CelebNHealth247.com has learned that Drake has postponed his Summer Sixteen tour dates in three cities across North America which includes Toronto, Philadelphia, and Newark.

Fans in the following cities will have to wait a little bit longer to see their favorite Canadian rapper. Drake is following doctors orders which have told him that he will have to wait just a bit and take some recommended time off until he recovers.

Drake expressed in a statement:

“I hate to be told I can’t do something, but under doctor’s orders to allow me time to recuperate, I am being forced to postpone the intense three shows in a row in cities which have only ever shown me unconditional support.”

The “Hotline Bling” rapper then continued:

“I am crushed to even be typing this announcement because I feel like I am letting my fans in these cities down. I only want to give you the best show you deserve, I promise — I will make it up to you.”

The “Controlla” MC was scheduled to perform his 51st show co-headlining tour with Future in the second of two planned performances at MetLife Stadium in Newark, New Jersey.

It looks like fans will have to just wait for that show to happen around his 80 or 90th day.
