Mo’Nique: Whoopi Goldberg Has ‘Always Been The Help’

Comedian and actress Mo’Nique is back on one again, but this time she has come for comedian/actress/producer/host Whoopi Goldberg stating that she’s “always been the help.”

Mo’Nique has NOTHING nice to say about Whoopi Goldberg and she is letting it be known. Girl, really? Read on…

CelebNMusic247.com reports that Mo’Nique has some FIERY things to say about Whoopi Goldberg in a recent interview with Vulture where she didn’t hold back at all.

Mo’Nique unleashed her voice and wants everyone in the world to know what she thinks about her fellow Oscar winner.

She said this about what The View discussed Mo’Nique’s career and 2018 Netflix boycott for offering a measly 500K for her own stand-up special.

Mo pulled the TRIGGER after Whoopi told her she could have “schooled” the veteran comedian on how to understand contracts:

She’s always been the help. hen you have a woman saying, ‘I could have schooled you,’ someone would say, ‘What was the schooling going to be?’ When I look at this woman you say is our icon and our legend — she is.

Mo’Nique stressed:

But, how many things has Whoopi Goldberg executive produced? Whoopi Goldberg has always been the help, and I say that humbly. So what is it that you’re going to school me on? I’ve been doing it for almost 30 years.

Does Mo’Nique NOT realize that Goldberg has actually produced 30 projects? Just saying.

Anyways, Mo went on to continue to look foolish by saying:

This is a woman who says ‘I could have schooled you,’ and this is a woman who accepted Ted Danson in blackface, and our community praises this woman. So often times, we do it to ourselves. But, I just can’t. Understand, I love my sister. However, when you know you’re being fed the wrong food, you must say, ‘I can’t chew this, y’all.’

Mo also shared some details about a behind the scenes conversation she had with Whoopi, expressing to The View co-host that she hoped her boycott would help the future queens in comedy who should know to demand their worth. According to her, Whoopi wasn’t having that either.

Mo’Nique said:

In that moment I knew I was looking at a woman who didn’t give a damn about me. And if she’s telling me, ‘Stop worrying about that little girl who not here yet,’ well, she forgot about the ones that came before her who were worried about her.

She didn’t stop there, Mo then fired shots on how Tyler Perry claimed he was going to speak up for her. Yet, let Mo tell it, except that never happened.

Here’s the thing: he’s never done it. We had given Tyler Perry a year to keep his word. Brother, you said you were going to come out and say something. Well, you never came out and said anything. And what was disheartening was people who were saying, ‘How could you tape him?’ But, they weren’t saying, ‘Oh my God, did you hear what he said? He said she wasn’t wrong.’

She concluded by stating that “We didn’t accept any money.”

So far, neither Whoopi or Tyler have responded.

Our Thoughts.

More than likely, neither Whoopi or Tyler will respond. To them, this is just another actress complaining about being mistreated in the industry. See the industry is small, everyone knows each other, and no one likes negativity because it can ruin their brand. It’s all smoke and mirrors, Hollywood friendships and empty promises unless you making the money and are at the top. Once there you have to play the game, if you don’t, you end up like Mo’Nique complaining and pointing the finger.

Our advice Mo, do you, stay strong, and rebrand, stop talking ish about everyone and they might come back around as they did for Roseanne Barr, just don’t F*** it up like she did.
