Meet New Cast of X-Men Apocalypse Mutants!!!

The next generation of mutants is shaping up quite nicely and now Meet New Cast of X-Men Apocalypse Mutants!

Director Bryan Singer revealed on Twitter Thursday that Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner and Tye Sheridan have been cast in X-Men: Apocalypse. Singer confirmed that of the newly cast “brilliant young mutants,” Shipp will play Storm, Turner will play Jean Grey and Sheridan will play Cyclops, CelebNMusic247.com has learned.

In case you are wondering who are the new younger versions of your favorite mutants, Storm is Alexandra Shipp, 22, who recently portrayed Aaliyah in the Lifetime TV movie Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B.

As for Sophie Turner, she is best known for her role as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones. And Tye Sheridan may NOT be a household name just yet, like Jennifer Lawrence aka Mystique, but he has acted alongside Sean Penn, Brad Pitt and Jessica Chastain in 2011’s The Tree of Life, and in 2012’s Mud, with Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon. These young stars are seasoned, but once they hit the screen as mutants they’re gonna be the next generation of big screen celebrities.

Returning to X-Men: Apocalypse is Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Channing Tatum (Gambit), Evan Peters (Quick Silver), Michael Fassbender (Magnito), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse).
