CelebNMusic247.com has word that Lady Gaga and fiancé Christian Carino have split just days before the Oscars and she is “devastated.”

Lady Gaga says “My love life has just imploded.”

The “A Star is Born” actress has come to the realization that as her career success increases her love life falls apart. It just doesn’t seem to work for the songstress.

A source close to Carino told PEOPLE:

Their friends knew they weren’t going to work out in the long run. It always seemed Christian was more into the relationship than Gaga was.

Well, it appears that they were wrong, because, they’re NOT in the relationship, they are only on the outside looking in.

If you were paying attention to the Grammy’s Gaga, 32, was not wearing her engagement ring on Feb. 10. — Gaga also did not thank Carino in her acceptance speech after her song “Shallow” won the best pop duo or group performance prize.

It was enough for her monsters to raise eyebrows and question if the singer and her agent boyfriend turned fiancé of two years had split.

A source also revealed to PEOPLE:

It just didn’t work out. Relationships sometimes end. There’s no long dramatic story.

A source told PageSix the singer was spotted at farmland resort Acre on the Baja peninsula in Mexico on Monday:

She was with three friends. She had a slick low ponytail, wearing a black outfit and a large diamond necklace.

A rep confirmed the split and Mexico trip on Tuesday.
