After a few months of dating, John Mayer has reportedly dumped the pop star.
A close friend to the singers told People magazine that Perry and Mayer have ended their brief romance, but remain on good terms.
The source explained:
“They’ll end up as friends.”
“They were honestly having fun. People made it out to be far more than it was.”
In July it was RUMORED that Mayer and Perry had SPLIT after they were spotted spending time together in Los Angeles.
Welp the rumors have proven themself to be true. However, before Perry began dating John Mayer, she divorced comedian Russell Brand earlier this year, and recently broke up with Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.
Guess three times is a charm, so maybe the next relationship will be a success.
I wonder if Russell Brand is somewhere smiling a little brighter today.
