CelebNMusic247.com wants to introduce you to Teflon Sega, a electronic-R&B group that is anchored by reverb-soaked vocals, sultry bass lines and cosmic synths.
Their new single “Beretta Lake” is the followup to “Sinner” which quickly captured the attention of music listeners and today counts over 60K streams on Soundcloud. “Sinner” also attained just as many spins from BBC Radio 1Xtra.
Today Teflon Sega teases more of what’s coming next with “Beretta Lake” (co-produced by Waju and Fallen), a collaborative effort with fellow rising act SAINt JHN. The ethereal, moody track blooms with echoed, siren synths and a haunting vocal that slurs to open with “drinking all night but I swear I been sober / we ain’t talked in a minute but I’m gonna head over.”
Teflon Sega New Song “Beretta Lake”:
The desperate, yearning melody about hopelessness and romantic despair finds it way to collaborator SAINt JHN, with the Brooklyn rapper knocking it into the stratosphere with his brash confessional, repeating ‘fuck it, my heart’s still in it, my hearts still in it.”
Teflon says about “Beretta Lake”:
“It’s a song about staring at the end. The feeling of a lonely highway through the endless dark into the night.”
