At a recent interview conference Oprah Winfrey admits her O Magazine has suffered greatly since her network talk show ended. She admits there were some unaccounted things she didn’t foresee, so O Magazine may be heading to the chopping block.
Oprah says,
“Obviously, the show was helping in ways that you know I hadn’t accounted for.”
“I’m not interested, you know, in bleeding money.”
Since her show went off the air, Oprah’s magazine has suffered a 22 percent drop in newsstand sales. Inevitably if O Magazine doesn’t start showing a profit you won’t be seeing it on the newsstands much longer.
