CelebNMusic247.com got word on fans pressing Lorde for more music, but we just learned what Lorde said to fans who are sick of the same old songs.
IG user gabatron9 made the seemingly harmless mistake of questioning the Kiwi’s artistry on Tuesday, saying:
“Do you think we will ever get another album or should we just give up on you as an artist?”
The Grammy winner sternly wrote back on Wednesday, saying:
“Give up on me if you want to! I’m an artist, I write a record when I have enough special stories to tell, and it’s all me, every melody every lyric, not some team who just start the machine up every eighteen months like clockwork. The record is written, we’re in the production stages now. I’ve worked like a dog for a year making this thing great for you guys.”
She did post an photo of herself sipping tea, saying:
“It’s summer in the studio too!”
Yikes!
We guess that mean there’s music on the way. But we know not to ask Lorde.
