Chris Brown Heading To Reality TV???
Reality TV may be getting a famous face since rumors are swirling that Chris Brown is in talks with BET for a reality TV series starring the troubled singer.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned via TMZ that BET has been taking meetings with several production companies and they want to make one thing clear.
Basically, the companies want to follow Brown’s life after his recent stint in jail, it would be like Whitney and Bobby‘s reality TV series, so there is NOT much to do but follow Brown and let the drama unfold.
Yes, it sounds like a hit in the making.
Since his infamous attack on Rihanna 5-years ago, Brown has been on a self destructive path, so why NOT exploit him and make some money. Obvioously that is what BET and Breezy’s camp is thinking, why else would he sign up and let everyone into his life.
Does he think he’s setting the record straight like Keyshia Cole? She did it before and while coming up, which made her show awesome. Whitney and Bobby’s show was to let people see how she lived since her habit took over and her singing faded, to be honest.
Brown is a hit maker, the boy with the golden touch, so would reality be a smart move?
All of this drama started over five years ago, when Chris Brown — a popular R&B star — was leaving a pre-Grammy’s party with his then-girlfriend, superstar Rihanna. Something happened inside some fancy-a** rental car to set him off, leaving Rihanna beaten to a pulp.
Since receiving supervised probation in that case, and starting out with an exemplary record, he has been on a Lindsay Lohan-like rollercoaster of charges, probation, rehab and jail time.
BET thinks that Brown’s journey after jail is quite possibly the basis for their next big reality show. In fact, CelebNMusic247.com has also learned that the network has gone so far as to hold a focus group, where participants were asked if they would watch a show that followed Chris as he tried to steer clear of beating up women and smoking dope. The group’s response was positive, saying that they would watch to see if he screwed up again.
We guess exploiting celebrities with anger issues and a violent temper like Chris Brown is a great way to capitalize on his mistakes.
Would you be watching the train wreck unfold on BET?
Is this Ratchet TV or NOT?
