CelebNMusic247.com reports that back in 2009 Ellen DeGeneres posted a tweet where it seemed like she was relishing in making one of her “employees cry like a baby on today’s show.”
Apparently, someone tried to take it out of context, but now it has been explained.
Well, Ellen DeGeneres meant it with all the best intentions because she did something great for one of her staff members.
See, DeGeneres’ surprised her employee Jeannie Klisiewicz with a cruise on air. Since she wrote to the show wanting a job a year prior.
The source revealed that DeGeneres wanted to “do something special for her” because of her positive attitude and because she had entered every contest and never won.
It all played out in an emotional segment on EllenTube three years ago.
The video comes amid 62-year-old DeGeneres’ attempt to apologize for her alleged toxic behavior behind the scenes of her eponymous talk show.
DeGeneres addressed her employees and said she had no clue where the rumored no-eye-contact rules at the show. She also announced that three top producers from “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”: executive producers Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman and co-executive producer Jonathan Norman.
