Diddy Did Duke It Out With Drake

Diddy Did Duke It Out With Drake!!!

We previously reported that Diddy and Drake got into a fight outside LIV in Miami hospitalizing the OVO rapper and now it’s official Diddy Did Duke It Out With Drake!

Wait till you hear the deets on why Diddy punched Drake!

According to multiple sources and insiders connected to the situation Diddy punched Drake right in the Face.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Diddy felt disrespected by Drake’s song “o to 100” and it’s producer are our friend Boi-1da who apparently gave both Diddy and Drake to record about eight months back.

Now here is the tea, see, once Diddy received the track, he sat on it, contemplating if he wanted to record it or not which apparently frustrated the Take Care rapper because he wanted to record it.

With that being said, Drake recently decided to take matters into his own hands and recorded the song on his own. He pretty much nailed it which made Sean Combs super mad!

Fast forward to Monday evening where the 45-year-old rapper saw Drake at LIV and confronted him about the whole ordeal. Sources close to Diddy said the confrontation didn’t go well, Drake ignored the “Tell Me” rapper and all hell broke loose.

Puff Daddy was reportedly heard saying to Drizzy before he threw the punch:

“You’ll never disrespect me again.”

Yikes!

Details after the blow are scarce, but 28-year-old rapper reportedly ended up in the ER because he hit his shoulder in the midst of the drama and made an old injury worse.

Now the weigh in:

There is an etiquette in the biz, but when tracks are up for sale and someone sleeps on it, the track is still fair game. We understand Diddy’s frustration, but Drake killed it on the track “0 to 100” hands down.

Maybe next time a certain someone won’t sit and contemplate making music when hot tracks are sent in. Plus lets be real Drake is on fire when it comes to writing lyrics. Diddy has hundreds of songs out there with his name stamped all over them. His golden era was the 90s – it was the reign of Diddy. He had the originality of Kanye West and the ambition of Drake killing track and making hits.

He hasn’t had a hot track since Diddy-Dirty Money – Let’s face it Diddy is Biggie, Lil Kim, Puff Daddy – his musical talents amazed us all when he put his golden touch on acts like Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, 112, Total, and Father MC. His in-house production team superseded his effort as the hits kept coming from artists like Jodeci, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Lil’ Kim, TLC, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, SWV, Aretha Franklin. The he breathed new life into Bad Boy with Mase and The Lox and he dominated the airwaves, but over the past years Diddy has become the mogul/producer/entrepreneur and his music has fallen to the waist side. He’s gotten caught up with MMG, who has their own style, but Diddy who is now the face of Revolt seems to be train jumping and falling into clichés of a former rapper who needs to gracefully step away from the mic. Being 45 is NOT the problem, there is no problem, Diddy is just wearing a different hat and that is all good, he just needs to realize that his struggle is NOT the same, his ambition is different, and he’s more business these days which does translate on to the mic well unless he’s going to flaunt his money, talk about labels, fine dining, hot cars, great getaway destination and not one thing that the streets can relate to, adding up to one thing CLICHE!

We have enough rappers doing that now, and its sad pathetic and out right insulting to true hip hop heads. The music used to be about something and now it’s a corporate way to influence fans and listeners to live outside of their means. It’s a way to make them feel that they need labels, cars and more to be relevant, but these days nobody wants to work for it. Diddy “Started From the Bottom” and now he’s here. He deserves all his attributes and wealth – he worked very hard for it, but it seems America has lost the key ingredient to success and that’s hard work pays off.

Now we live in a fish tank of wanna-bees, gold diggers, users, hidden agendas, and frenemies. No disrespect to Diddy, but he could have handled things way better and NOT gone there, but hey, anger is a crazy thing. Next time may we suggest hitting a wall? #KarmaIsGreat

As for Diddy aka The Puff Daddy album, we are all still waiting for his seventh studio album MMM which was due out this year (2014).
