(CelebNMusic247-News) Christian Bale Not Returning as The Bat
Man of Steel has officially been dubbed a summer blockbuster since its global success in the box office.
With that said, a Justice League movie is looking ever more likely to happen, but the project will have to find a new Batman according to Christian Bale.
If Justice League gets the official green light as projected, Bale has officially taken himself out of the equation.
Here’s the drop according to Entertainment Weekly:
Christian Bale has been talking about the possibility of a DC team-up movie, and as far as he’s concerned, he’s hung up the cape and cowl for good.
Bale says:
“I have no information, no knowledge about anything.”
“I’ve literally not had a conversation with a living soul. I understand that they may be making a Justice League movie, that’s it.”
“It’s a torch that should be handed from one actor to another.”
He continues:
“So I enjoy looking forward to what somebody else will come up with. We were incredibly fortunate to get to make three [Batman films]. That’s enough. Let’s not get greedy.”
It would have been a massive surprise had Bale decided to return to the role one more time, but having officially ruled himself out, its time to start thinking about who could take his place.
